Hello

I want to do a graph and I can't figure out which one / how to do it!

I have three columns:


a 1/2/03 4
a 3/4/04 5
b 1/1/03 7
c 1/2/03 2


So the first column is text group, then date then a number. The data is sorted by column a then b. I want to show the variations in the first column over the date range.

Any suggestions?

If you mean that a was 4 on 1/2/03, then 5 on 3/4/04; and b was 7 on 1/1/03; etc.

then use an XY scatter graph with different series for a, b, c, with X and Y being the date and the value respectively.
