Default Whats the best AGP GFX Card ?

I have an ATI x800 pro at the moment but its on its last legs (getting artifacts) , so I was wondering what the best replacement would be.

I dont really want to change my board to PCI-E as my board is a fairly new 64bit board with an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Venice) I also have 2.5 GB DDR Ram.

any advice appreciated

cheers

Phil

MG,

Would you mind putting feedback on the card in here? I've been thinking about upgrading to one of these and would appreciate your opinion

Cheers

Installed yesterday & it seems a great card so far.

! got a 3d mark (2k3) score of 12119 with this card as apposed to 9.5 k with the old ATI x800 pro

not been through all the options yet, but very happy initially.

anyone wanna buy an x800 pro with Zalman cooling pipes system ?

IMHO yes - and you should be able to pick BF2 up for 15-20 quid, and SF for another 10-15
Night fights and the zip lines etc.. are great fun

You got patch 1.2 installed? If yes - we're on from 8pm (ish) (9pm for me) tonight on the SNAFU server , SF tonight

PS. tomorrow sees the release of hotfix 1.21, this addresses some of the helis v AA or planes issues (hopefully). But lets face it - in real life heli versus jet fighter...

All the servers are being patched tomorrow afternoon /evening - could mean no servers available until quite late.

Personally can't make tomorrow either - but will be playing Sunday night on the server.
