Default Converting DVD to.....

What is the best format to rip a DVD into? (VOB Files)

I'm assuming it's AVI !

And what would be your recommended program.

Andy

That's what I would go for, DivX avi

Have a look on www.videohelp.com in the forum and under tools, it allows you to choose your ripping type and what tool to use.

Cheers Mark, been there and plenty of ripping tools to get it on the pc, which I've managed to do using Nero and an mds format,

Downloaded and installed "Auto Gaurdian rock" and a load of packaged codecs,
Crashed and burned and the first hurle (Encountered a problem and needs to close)

Now attempting "Fair Use Wizard, see how we get on with that.

What do other people recommend?
