Help Loading a CD ROM
Hi All,
I have just bought a cheap disc with game for my children,
I am trying to lead the game and get the following message pop up in a box.
C:\windows/system32\autoexec.nt
The system file is not suitable for runung MS - DOSand microsoft windows application. Choose " close " to terminate the appliaction.
The computer I have is not brand new but certainly should be good enough to load this disc
Disc requirement on the disc state
Operating Systems : windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP
CPU Type and SPeed Puntium 75 or equal
Hard Drive Space 5 MB
Memory 8MB or Higher
Graphics 640 x 480 x 256 Colours
CD Rom Speed 2 x or faster
Audio Any 100% windows compatible soundcard
Im now the enemy for buying a disk that does not work

Thanks for your help, I dont have the original disc so am trying to follow the instructions given, having some trouble though as follows :
7. In Notepad, type the following entries: dos=high, umb
device=%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\himem.sys
files=40
8. On the File menu, click Save As.
9. In the File Name box, type Config.nt, and then click Save. Close the Config.nt file.
10. On the File menu, click New.
11. In the new blank document, type the following entries: @echo off
lh %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\mscdexnt.exe
lh %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\redir
lh %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\dosx
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 P330 T3
12. On the File menu, click Save As.
13. In the File Name box, type Autoexec.nt, and then click Save. Close the Autoexec.nt file.
14. Start Windows Explorer. Locate the Config.nt file, right-click the Config.nt file, and then click Copy.
15. Right-click the %SYSTEMROOT%\System32 folder, and then click Paste.
16. Locate the Autoexec.nt file, right-click the Autoexec.nt file, and then click Copy.
17. Right-click the %SYSTEMROOT%\System32 folder, and then click Paste.
18. Locate the Command.com file, right-click the expanded Command.com file, and then click Copy.
19. Right-click the %SYSTEMROOT%\System32 folder, and then click Paste. Restart your computer.
I can follow it up till15 and then cant find the folder mentioned, any ideas

The other alternative is, if you have a PC with an older version of windows on it should run on that without any problem. The issue affects Windows XP only.
