Lost folder in Outlook Express
Hi, Hope someone can help me out.
My wife has lost a folder (all of it's contents) in Outlook Express. She swears she hasn't deleted it. You do need to right click and then confirm to delete a folder so I don't think it has been done by accident.
All the other folders in Outlook Express are still there.
I have looked in the correct directory (indentities etc) and it aint there.
Also looked in the trash can and it aint there either.
I did a search in the root for any .dbx files, not found the one that is missing.
Could this have been a virus? The folder that is missing does have a seperate e-mail address which goes into it and no-where else. She also had the preview pain active which I have told her many times not to have as viruses can activate from the preview pain.
I am running XP Pro (upto date)
Mc Afee, virus and firewall (upto date)
I also have a hardware firewall through my wireless router.
I'd be surprised if a virus has got through but you never no I guess.
I hope someone can shead some light on the problem, the folder contained quite a bit of work related stuff,
Thanks in advance,
Grahame.

Not that often, only 1-3 times a week when I am working abroad.
Saying that though, MSN does auto log in on start up, so it is 'active' a lot of the time.
