Outlook 2003 Archives - Folders Collapsing
I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with this problem...
One of our users has a laptop (Win XP Pro and Office 2003) and he uses 6 different PST files for archiving emails. Some of these archives are quite complex in that they have lots of folders and then subfolders within subfolders etc.
The problem is that sometimes when he exits from Outlook and shuts down the laptop, the next time he opens Outlook, all the archive folders are collapsed to the top level. He finds this frustrating as he then has to trawl through the various folders again to get to where he was previously.
All of the PST's are Outlook 2003 format, the laptop has all the updates installed including Office 2003 SP2. The only other thing which may possibly be causing it is ActiveSync (as he also has a PDA)?
Any help/advice appreciated,
Thanks,
Gavin

Could try command line switches with outlook.
Go to the help for the cmd line examples
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /cleanviews
(Restores default views. All custom views you created are lost.)
