Question Best PC speakers?

Hi. Need some nice speakers to go with my lap top, which I use mainly as a lap top. Need to sit on a desk so size is important but could slip subwoofer underneath. After something with a really nice sound. Any recommendations?

Logitech make just about the best range of pc/console peripherals these days.

Also try the JBL Creatures (I have these, discrete, but great sound) and anything made by Altec Lansing.

Does anyone know which shops might stock the logitech speakers? I prefer to pick them up myself rather than buy on line

I've ordered the z2300s. They are just to put in the 'study' for listening to music whilst I'm working. 5.1 would be overkill! But I'll bear them in mind for when I'm sorting out my full sound system
