Yep the Sledgehammer sounds very distinctive, wonder if owners think it sounds accurate, must say the sounds on PGR3 are the best so far, Forza was pretty good as well.
Hate to say it but I just can't get on with it, the handling just isn't a patch on the last one
And it truly pains me to say that.
Despite what the 360 lovers say, pgr3 was rushed, yes it looks v.pretty but it is very flawed, The AI is ****e to say the least, they stick to their racing line and thats it, doesnt matter if you're in the way, it is also very similar to pgr2 on xbox so a waste of £45-£50 if you've already owned the previous.
It is also very short, i completed the gold in 2 weekends. The best cars were available within the first couple of hours of play, they've spent too much time on eye candy and **** all on the actual gameplay.
As for the soundtrack....thanks to m$ for providing custom playlists.
It bored me very quickly but i'm sticking with it for the gametag score
To me the handling seems better than PGR2 remembering it is an arcade racer, but I'm no expert. The game is not perfect and is short but you do have the XBOX live experience to keep you going.
I guess we will have to wait for PGR4 or Forza 360 for a more accomplished game.
