Post Losing focus in 3d on ATi

when I try to run some 3d apps I often get thrown to desktop with an error message saying "lost 3d focus". Has anyone seen this as well or know what the cause is?

X1900XT using the drivers from the CD.

Could be a buggy driver. Have you downloaded the latest ATi catalyst 6.1 drivers and tried again?

Jpor, you might be right and apparently the newest 6.1 drivers dont work on the X1900 models. Guess I will have to wait for the new drivers in a week or so and see if that fixes it.
