AMD prices drops 23 Jan & 3Dmark06
AMD price drops will be announced next week it seems on the 23rd.

Also 3Dmark06 was released yesterday, anandtech have done a test already, and Nvidia rule the roost - well until Monday when ATi release the X1900XT!!... But then the 7900GTX is due soon too from Nvidia.... the battle goes on...

Yeah but doesn't Nvidia sponser 3D Mark? there always seems to be a "Nvidia - the way it should be played" blurb in there somewhere.
Still the AMD price drop might finally tempt me into a new base unit..... maybe

And ATi previously, have always been the clear winners for DirectX performance in 3Dmark - so this makes a nice change.
Will be interesting to see how the X1900XT Vs 7900GTX
