Saving jpeg files

I've got some jpeg files which i've modified, but when I save them, there is slight speckle to them, I'm not changing the colour depth or save type, but if saved as PNG, they're fine.

I'm using JASC Paintshop Pro 9

Umm.

When you save a JPG, click options in the save dialog box & change the compression to highest quality.
