OK new mobile phone required - a few criteria to meet though
Mother in Law wants a new phone.
I need to sup from the fountain of Scoobynet knowledge!!!
She's currently on Nokia/Orange PAYG, so I would like to try to keep the same partnership (she won't need to learn a bew phone OS then!)
I'm assuming she'll need a new SIM (updated one for media phones)?
Needs to have a half-decent camera basically.
Any suggestions/recommendations?

I'd recommend the Nokia 6230i. Have a 256Mb MMC card in mine and stores lots of MP3's and pics. Soild, reliable, nice and easy to use, good battery life and 1.3 MP camera Its been around for a little while now, so won't break the bank either.
Shouldn't need a new SIM unless you want to change numbers or take up a current offer.

Agreed. I've been using the 6230i - the i's important - and it's been great. The screen magnifies fingerprints, but it's nothing a quick wipe can't sort out.
