Hi peeps,

I just realised that for christmas I have enough vouchers to buy a PSP. Now obviously it will come with new firmware. Is there anyway to mod it so that it can run the 1.5 firmware ?

Any good sites anyone can recommend for it ?

Cool site I think my PSP was 1.52 but the GTA upgraded it to 2.00 have anyone here acually downgraded.

I have I went for 2.0>1.5 been running that setup since day 1 of the downgrader

but you can run most homebrew now on 2.0 with the GTA game save hacks

So will a version 2.0 downgrade ? And also are they still available or are they all 2.01s ?

Cant downgrade mine it freezes when trying to load the image from the photo folder, a few people on their form is also having the same problem.

they say to do the 1.52 or 1.51, you need to upgrade to 2.0 then go to 1.50

Downgraded mine now to 1.50 following the instuctions from this thread http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/about14941.html

But there is no internet browser on v1.50 which i did use at times on v2.0

Back up to v2.0 as the games i`ve bought wont play at least i`ve got the files on the PC now to downgrade

RB5-Black do you have any bought games that you use that needs a higher firmware, how do you get around this.

I use MPh's firmware changer. It's a flash program so it is possible to brick your psp with it.

Excuse the dumb question, but why would you want to go back ?

to run Emulators because most psp games are kak. I play more megadrive and snes games than anything else
