Gamestation quote
Any X Box 360 sold before Xmas will need a £200 upgrade in 6 months to play the new HPI or HDI games not sure which ive been on the sauce. Anyone heard this? Bit worried now. Apparently the new games wont play on this model X Box

Never heard of that price, but its likely that there will be an upgrade to support 1080p in the future. Doubt there will be "1080p only" games though, so there won't be problems playing any future titles.

......and you'll also need a 1080p TV and there's not many of those around yet either. That's more than 'HD Ready' which is only 720p.
It's the same as ever - there will always be something better along in a year and it will usually be cheaper too....
