In between exams, Christmas preparations I have made a start on building the arcade machine, so far I have

Resurrected an old Duron pc

fitted it with a Radeon 9200 graphics card with tv out (in addition to the Voodoo 3 that was already in it, can now run 3 monitors !

removed the back off the old telly, junked the speakers

Bought S-VHS to scart cable and plugged it in, worked eventually but is only in black and white, sort of expected this, need to delve into the mysteries of the two standards and come up with a cable that will provide a colour output, suspect its cos the S VHS out from the PC is 7 pin and the cable is only 4.

Have started taking dimensions for the cabinet, will draw them up properly, have sounded out the local builders mercants and they are happy to cut everything out, to size, including the angled bits.

The eagle eyed will notice a shotgun, it isnt real, it belongs to my kids !
