Is it possible to play old win98 games on XP Pro?

i have the comand and conquer set but i can't get them to run properly on my pc - it's running xp pro, 14" flat monitor ( i know it's small)

any step by step solutions for non computer person?

Right click on the icon that runs the game and select the Compatibility tab.
Check the box next to Compatibility mode and then select Windows 98 from the drop down list.
Apply and then OK.

You maybe able to get patches for them if that doesn't work with the compatibilty.
