How to prolong the life of a latop battery ?
I have just purchased a new battery for my laptop, as the original one would not last 5 mins and I experienced problems booting..... (18 months old)
New battery in..... and all is well.......
What is the best/correct method of use to prolong the life.
My laptop is on from morning till night...... (the missus uses it all day
)
Should it be used on battery only, until it is about to run out, then recharge?
When it is switched off.... should i disconnect the power ??
Any suggestions welcomed......

If your running on mains power 98% of the time, charge the battery fully and remove it from the laptop.
When you need to use the battery make sure it's fully charged & fully discharged - and then fully charged again for storage.
