Dell Inspirion 6000 Wireless Problem
My Dell Inspirion 6000 Laptop up until two days ago, worked flawlessly with its wireless connection. However since Sunday evening, it hasn't been able to connect to the wireless router (Linksys Broadband G Router).
I have tried using the Linksys wireless card instead of the on board Intel wireless option but no luck. Both the Intel and Linksys card don't seem to be picking up a signal from the router. (I have noticed that there is no IP or anything).
I've tried updating the drivers of the onboard card and linksys card, updating the firmware of the router (& rebooting) but nothing. The router still seems to be working fine with being a hub for my other Laptop and my desktop. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Li.

I take it your router is still broadcasting the SSID ?
log into the router via hub (wired), check the settings for dhcp server, are there enough ip's in the range to cope ?
check wireless still enabled, has the security settings been changed ?
try releasing all ip's for wireless clients.
Have the wireless connections in "network connections" on the laptop been disabled ??
try an ipconfig/release then ipconfig/renew on laptop.
