I'm sure we've all had this error before but for some reason my computer has chosen to throw up a "Cannot Find Server or DNS Error" for only two sites:

www.paypal.com
www.amazon.co.uk

Paypal is a nightmare coz i'm an e-bay junkie & Amazon isn't too helpful in the run up to Xmas

Anyone any ideas as to why these two sites might be affected?

Statically add a DNS Server to your p.c 158.43.128.72 is a UUNet one

Are you on NTL by any chance?Their DNS servers are the slowest in the world. I installed Treewalk DNS on my XP boxes so they do their own DNS and use NTL's as secondary DNS servers.
