Default Anyone got X3:Reunion working yet?

I hate this. I buy the game, but can't install it due to a crappy copy protection system

Sorry, let me rephrase that. I installed it & THEN it didn't work because the crappy copy protection system installed.

I've updated the aforementioned crappy copy protection bolox (staforce) and it still doesn't work. One recommendation was to de-install everything and re-install. Deinstall, great. Re-install: nope. Crappy copy... you get the idea...

Removed THAT as well, doesn't want to know - basically you install the game and can't play it because the CCPS won't let you read the DVD! Nightmare

Got that one lightning - unfortunately the bloody copy protection system doesn't allow me to read the DVD at all now...

I think I'm gonna have to stream off the DVD contents from another machine and go with the no cd patch - the only problem with THAT is that the game is so buggy it won't play once you've got it working

From the reviews I've read it's a crap game anyway, endless boffing about trying to build up a few meansly credits. Repeat over and over for months to buy some duff upgrade. PC Format totally slated it.

Try this, run the crack from gamecopyworld as mentioned and run sd4hide.exe to hide your cd/dvdrom drives, oh and do a full install of the game (if you can). That may work.
