I've looked and looked but I must be going blind or something.

Does anyone have a clicky to the back of an XBox360?

I wondering if it has a normal sized SCART connection on the back of it so I get my perferred cables ordered (No HD yet )

also, does it have digital out audio out of the the box?

im pretty sure it doesnt, looking at the brochure from gamePlay in front of me it looks as though all connections are through what looks like a non standard connector similar to the orignal xbox.

You can get the HD AV Cable which looks like it has a VGA plug and 2 phone sockets on it, but the blurb also says 5.1 surround output.

And also there is the Component HD AV Cable for 'progressive scan DVD playback' also 5.1 surround output.

Oh and you can also get an Advance AV cable which again has the non standard plug on one end and a scart at the other.

As Mark says, its a non-standard connector on the 360. A toslink optical connection is available on the Advanced Scart, just like XBox.

The standard HD cable supplied with the premium console comes with the toslink socket for digital audio on the stem of the cable at the point where it plugs into the console. European versions will be shipped with scart to phono adapters and it will be a case of plugging the red, white for stereo audio or just the yellow for standard def video.

No additional cable are required. So save your cash and spent it on mods.
