Have a look at the AVForums site:

http://www.avforums.com/forums/index.php

The 'Entertainment Computers & Components' forum, there's allot of good info in there about TV Capture Cards.

If u want to do it on a budget I recommend the Leadtek Winfast 2000 XP Pro card. £35. Has teletext, remote, good sware, TV aerial input for terrestrial tv, and svideo/audio inputs for anythin else. i.e vcr, settop box, sky/sky+, camcorder etc. I like to capture music vids from sky+ and on the lowest settings (to keep the filesize down) its pretty decent.
