not quite a legit post but what the hell
MY mate who shall remain nameless...V5 Man DOH !!!
wanted a new copy of Photoshop, so being the kind friend I am I supplied him with a ahem..cough cough slightly hooky copy as his funds are tight.
(only for testing purposes of course )
Supplied with written instructions on how to install the software including how to circumvent the activation software.
In plain language and all detailed out, it said under no circumstances activate online but rather use the telephone method etc etc. (you lot know the score)

well turned up today to do a few extra things to his PC and asked him about the install and did it go ok etc etc and what did he say ????

"yeah tried that activation thing, but when I phoned them up they declined my serial number "

NUTTER !!!
I said " please tell me you didnt actually call them up ?"

yes and they declined my serial number !!

Dear god, I am surrounded by numpties

Lesson learned...get your mates to buy the software

well it could have been worse, he could have said "my mate gave it to me, do you want to contact him ive got his phone number and address if you want it"
