Question Cannot find Users Profile.....

Thats what my Desktop is saying when I switch it on ???
It looks like the wife has switched off the system at the socket.
All it is giving me is a blank blue screen.
What could be the problem here ? (other than the wife !!! )

Try loading in safe mode (press F8 as Windows boots).

Sounds like corrupted Windows files. Do you have any important data you want to recover? You can run the Windows install & go to the recovery console, however this can sometimes destroy some data.

hmmm ? I'm confuesd (nothing new there as far as PCs are concerned)
Everything seems to be fine now ? I unplugged the slave drive and the main HDD seems to boot up fine. Would a corrupt file on the slave HDD affect the initial boot up ?
