Best laptop brand/model less than 600 quid?
Hi chaps,
Can anyone recommend me a laptop for sub 600 quid.
Needs have to 512Mb ram and 40GB or better HD.

Inspiron 2200 pricing doesn't match their specially offer front page...
Says the 512Mb one is £521, then you go into customise n buy, and its £615 - arrgghh!

Hi Alex, have you tried the dell outlet (or whatever it is called section where they have some pre-built systems at good prices.

We've been buying Toshiba L10's and some HP nx6110's recently - I'm pretty sure you can get one with that spec for sub £600
Not the fastest CPU but plenty of mem and wireless. (firewire in mx6110 too I think)
