Would it be possible to look at films in my digital camcorder thro' my PC? If so what do I need to do this. I have reasonable spec' PC with TV card. Thanks, David

Has the camcorder got an svideo or firewire output? If so then u maybe able to hook it up to your tv card on svideo if you're tvcard has an s-video input. Or if you have a firewire port in your pc use that instead. With firewire you would transferring the footage though to be viewed, probably after some conversion.

Thanks for response. I'm afraid you are way above my head but armed with that information I can ask the guy who assembled the PC for me. All I know is that I can plug the camcorder into the PC but nothing happens. But I haven't a clue what I am plugging where, sad I know.... david
