Question IPaq question

Got a hw6515 - very pleased with it so far (only had it 1 day!)

Got everything setup apart from :-

(1) Internet via Bluetooth (internet provided by my PC)

(2) TomTom - wont activate. Gives me the text -

"GPS Navigation

Error
Access denied

Download failed. Contact www.tomtom.com for further information."

I've gone to tomtom (what an abomination of a site that is!!!) - totally useless. I can surf the net (albeit wired via the USB cradle - hence why I asked about point 1! )

Any ideas?

Dan

If you can't surf the net and TomTom won't activate then it sounds like a general internet connection problem and not a TomTom problem.

Does TomTom need to contact its own website to authenticate??

Is your pc connected to the internet via a router?

I can surf the net - everything works apart from Tomtom.
I would also like as an additional function to suf the net thru bluetooth, but I think it's probably bestt to tackle one issue at a time.

Internet IS working - I can get email/sccobynet etc no problem, just not the tomtom stuff - looks like an error with the tomtom server.......

Any ideas?

Isn't a .nl a Dutch website?

Are you using the correct link?

Try HERE for help on this one.

I had a helluva problem with my 2110 trying to get the gps receiver and tomtom to work, needed a registry hack in the end.

The tomtom url you are using is soooo wrong you need to go HeRe
