PSP web browsing question/Wireless security
Hi
I've not yet got a PSP, but will get one soon. Can anyone tell me what the web browsing function is like? Is it viable for occasional checking Ebay for instance? I can see from the online manual how you would type a web page address, but what about username & password for instance, or search box entries?
When setting up the PSP on a wireless network, does it use full security, eg MAC address etc?

Username and password are entered the same way as web addresses, bit of a pain, but using cookies it only needs to be done once on most sites. For security you can use WPA or WEP and it has a MAC address that can be filtered, so it's pretty good. I use it for the occational web mail check, much faster than firing up the PC.

Thanks for your reply. So it looks OK for occasional, but not regular use. I know there's a PIN to control web access, but is there some sort of control to only allow certain site access by children?
