Integrated Support/Bug Tracking System info needed
Afternoon,
I'm after some advice on software for support/bug tracking, etc.
What I want to be able to do is to have a user forum, where users can ask questions and others can post answers. I also want users to be able to submit bugs, allow such entires to only be viewed by support staff, and allow updates to the entry to be posted, and also be able to list the current known issues and such like.
At first thought, phpbb could be used for some of this, certainly the user forum bit, but not really for the bug tracking side of things.
So, what solutions (preferably open source/free, and ideally running under *nix rather than windows) are there? mamboserver has been mentioned as has joomla and I'm about to have a peek, but I thought I'd ask here whilst I'm doing that.

I use a combination of Bugzilla for bug tracking and Request Tracker for trouble tickets. Both are free but may need some savvy to install.

Thanks Steven,
I've used bugzilla before (we still have it installed somewhere here). I'll have a look at RT and see what that's like.
