Default Avast! AntiVirus

Anyone use this? it does pick up alot of stuff the AVG didnt but it dont half slow your system down, unless ive got the settings wrong somewhere.
Any ideas what the optimums are?

I used it for a while but it was bogging too much, so I moved back to AVG. I scan my PC with my work PC's McAfee and it never finds anything, so AVG 7 must be doing the trick.

I've seen AVG 7 miss some pretty nasty viruses, and I've also had McAfee do the same. The most reliable one I've found so far is Panda 2005, (and it seems to use far less resource than McAffe, AVG or Norton)

Yep, i also use Panda 2005, top anti virus!
