are you sure it wont play them as in maybe a duff dvd or have you tried several? what dvd drive do you have, i not sure if this is possble to be honest unless there is a firmware upgrade for it

whats the make and model of your drive? if you not sure right click my computer and go to properties, go to hardware tab, then click device manager and expand the list for DVD/CD-ROM drives.
