Help with Dell Axim - not charging
Hello,
Let the battery go flat. I've done this before, and i remember last time it was a pain to get it to charge at first.
Here's what's happening:
If i connect it via USB using the cable they supply with it, it activesync's fine, and on the battery screen says it's charging, but the % never goes up, and the orange/green light on the power button isn't illuminated. The same happens if I use another USB cable I have for it (it' meant to be for plugging into the cigarette converter i have for the car).
I've tried both the above cables with a converter in the car cigarette socket and again it doesn't charge.
I have an old Brodit active/powered holder which i used to use for the PDA in the scoob. If I plug it into that in the car it does charge up.
Any ideas?

Cheers I'll have a nose.
Have managed to get it to hold charge from the Brodit car charger, which is hopefully a step forward. All I need to do is install Tom Tom and get it working from one of the other cables with the cigarette lighter. It then never really needs to go on the laptop, so it doesn't need to charge from it.
Note to all:
DON'T let PDA batteries run flat!!
