Merging C drive and E drive
My friends pc has a hdd partition, his software was installed in the E drive and once up and running he was left with a C and E drive.
He wants to merge the two, how can he do this?
Hes running XP Home.

If he deleted E would it shift the space to the C drive?
The pc came like this so if he reformatted would he just have a C drive or would the E drive still be entact??

However, the main problem from the original post appears to be that applications are installed on the E: drive therefore the registry will be full of entries pointing to that partition. You could do something like exporting the registry as a text file then do a search and replace, but to be honest you'll probably find it easier just to do a complete reformat and reinstall.
