Default Autocad 2000

Help required, I am trying to use Autocad 2000, with very little success,
I have just bought a book for autocad 2000, and the first Exercise is to
use the Title bar and toolbar commands, the only problem is I haven't
got either of them on my screen, Where do i go from here pleeeease.
Thanks for help you can give me.

There are many toolbar commands that are hodden by default. If you right click on the grey are at the top just below the menu items, you can then see a list of toolbars that you can enable.

Which book are you using?

There are very few (if any) decent autocad training books, esp for the UK as all the existing ons are made for the US and use the imperial measurement system. I've been told a couple of times that I should write one - I made a start but lost the momentum...
