Go to this link http://www.pegasus.co.uk/capitalfoc/...ads/choose.asp and you can get yourself a copy of Pegasus Capital completely free and legitamate. Its basically a discontinued product but it is very easy to use and will do everything you need.

Sorry John that is just appaling, the screenshots look like the GUI has been deisgned by a six year old and it doesnt even follow the basic concept of accounting with separate Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers, uh just plain horrid!

If you are going to choose an accounting system its simple go with the market leader or their close rivals - Sage or Pegasus becuase chances are your accountant will use one or the other and both have upgrade paths.
