Wireless Digital Music Player
Looking at getting a Netgear Wireless Digital Music Player MP101 so I can play my music from my PC in my Lounge.
Has anyone got/used one of these, is it any good, or other recommendations.
Cheers.

Chipped Xbox is by far the best machine for this use. I stream my music , video and pictures to my lounge and it's so easy.

I have an MP101 and it does what it says on the tin. Not too expensive, looks pretty smart and works flawlessly with the rest of my Netgear wireless network. Upgrade the firmware on it to the latest version then junk the server software it comes with and find another uPNP music server on the internet. Search Google for Twonkyvision, which I use and is free. There is other stuff out there too I'm sure.
For the price it's great. Yes there's other more expensive solutions out there (like a Slim Devices Squeeze box) but for the price it's very good.
Hope that helps.

You can buy a new chipped xbox for £130 so around the same price as a music streaming device and you get a free games console thrown in
