Default GT4 La Sarthe

What better time to take a crack at the Le Mans on GT4 than when the actual thing is on TV. Only problem is the bloody idiot driver keeps driving into the wall on the straight and the steering judder makes it almost unuseable (sp?).

I'm sure I've seen this covered before on the forum but can't for the life of me find the thread, so anyone got a suggestion?

Cheers

I think it's to do with the height of the car, it keeps bottoming out. Try raising the car a few mm IIRC that should sort you out.

If you're trying to use the F1 car then raise the ride height by 15mm. IMHO you're better off using one of the "good" LM cars - much higher top end speed, especially if you're on the unchicaned version.

If it's the 24hr race you're having a crack at (meaning you won't have the Audi R8 or Bentley Speed 8) stick a bigger turbo in the Minolta and use that.

Was doing it with the RB, already put up the ride height, not sure by how much and also reduced the downforce, which may explain why he went off so often.

Ended up third after the **** ran out of fuel on the final lap on the Mulsanne (before the kink!)

Bloody frustrating, particularly when the top speed with me driving was 250mph and yet he'll only do 220. Bizarre!

LOL - I ended up having to drive for 3 hours on A-Spec to turn around a 1 lap deficit on Le Sarthe II.

Really looking forward to that... Unfortunately didn't give myself enough time to do it, so wasted the race. Doh!
