Question iTunes help please!

I recently joined iTunes and downloaded a few tracks. They are in a M4P format and when I burn them to a disc using Nero, my MP3 player in the car cannot play them.

I tried to use WMA workshop to convert them to MP3 with no luck. Is there a way of either specifying that the downloads are in MP3 format or converting the M4P files to MP3?

Thanks

Steve

Burn them to an audio CD using iTunes, then re-import them as MP3s.

I thought of that but it seemed a bit of a waste of CD's!

Can you use re-writable? Never tried it myself.
