Default PCWorld damned cheap shock!

Proving that DSG arent always uncompetitive; this Belkin IEEE1394 HAC costs £19:99. The same card at EBuyer costs £28:22..... They are one minor revision apart, in DSGs favour, otherwise theyre identical.

Hello

PCWorld has it's moments of being cheap. Not that often though unfortuantely.

But then I still use them occasionally as I must have something NOW and their superstores are all over the place.

I always find hunting for returned goods is a nice way to get a bargain - 20% off and the goods are basically perfect.

Today I bought a brand new Netgear adsl router from pc world for £83, best price on the net was £89.
I always use the option to 'pick up in store' when I the item reserve online.
The PCworld Store price on the shelf today was £129.99, but because I reserved it online I got it for £83!

PCworld can be cheap.

Very true, but itd be a mistake to see PCW as anything more than Currys for popular PC stuff. With over 150 stores it was impossible to recruit technically adept sales staff, let alone genuinely knowledgable ones.
