Who do i go to to get the best broadband deal on a bt line?, dont want the ntl type packages etc etc.

Anyone got some good leads for me ???

try hotchilli.com - they supply ours. prices from all the suppliers are pretty similar (unless i haven't been paying attention to the small print!)

I would never sign up for a 12 month contract, so as above virgin are good, nildram are also very good but not that cheap.
BT is a 12 month contract.

you could try www.uwclub.com they do 2 meg for 25 quid and 1 meg for 19.99 they are pretty good and have unlimted usage etc.

tiscali have a reputation as being w@nk
my old isp used their lines and connection was terrible, so i had to leave

virgin are good if you want shortterm contract and are not a heavy downloader

I've just moved to e7even.com. 1Mb connection, free 4 port ADSL switch/router/ modem for £10 p/m No download limits.

They seem good so far, but I have only been with them for 1 week

I've heard that e7even are suffering from some performance problems and appear to be hitting contention. Have you found the service reliable in the sense that you can get 1Mb/s all of the time?

have also heard alot of bad thing about e7even recently as well

they try to stop and threaten their users from using p2p file sharing

Think they have cut a few people off and sent emails to most of their users saying that p2p is not allowed.

Great Just what I wanted to hear. *sigh*

Will just have to see what happens. Most providers do not like P2P, so its just a case of seeing how they react to my limited usage
