Question MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger

Is anyone aware of any conflicts between MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger?

What are the differences between the two applications and should I uninstall one of them, i.e. do I need both?

I downloaded MSN Messenger and I suspect that Windows Messenger came bundled with XP Pro.
