All the websites and mags seem to like it, but I remember someone saying on here recently it looked quite poor.
So is the final product a "GT4 killer" like they've been saying ?

Its hard not to compare it to GT4, but IMO it really shouldn't be.
Its far more arcadey than GT4, and has lots more customisation options (more akin to NFSU) as well as good damage modeling. In fact, GT4 I found boring, this is far more fun
Xbox racers are perfect on the analogue triggers. Personally, I love it It feels more like a hybrid of GT4 and PGR2 to me.

Got to agree with you there mate, I'm quite enjoying it GT4 is good, but hardly anything different from GT3 really.
Forza has some nice touches too, I was being tailed very closely in one race and I left the braking very late into one bend. I managed to get round the bend, but the guy behind was following so close that he went off the track ! Plus the damage is good, I hit one car with my OSF bumper, and this left my car pulling to the right !
It's a good game, not as good as GT4 if you want a sim, but good fun.
However, I got an email last week saying that TOCA 3 is out this year - that will be fun
