No region lock on games, so yes it'll play American games.

I'm playing Tonyhawks (USA) on my Jap PSP1000 at the moment

but why would you want to pay £15 for a movie on a format you can't use anywhere else but on the PSP ?????

go buy the DVD then convert it yourself.

The only difference I can see is the use of the O rather than the X to confirm choices in the menu system on the Jap console. Once in game it's back to using the X.

I couldn't find any consoles in the US and I tried a good few stores in 3 states. Even games were pretty much sold out in California and Nevada, Arizona had a full selection of games but no consoles.

The US console uses a Samsung screen that isn't quite as bright as the JAP sharp screen for the same power usage. Although the Jap screen has a higher occurance of dead pixels ( I've got 4 dead but only see them on black screens)

www.lik-sang.com will let you see the games released and about to be released. As jack say's the X and O button are swapped on the jap system but in game it's just the same. Japanese UMD's so far have all had a full English soundtrack too

That's a bargain, leaves enough change for a Spliff and a 'Ho.

Couple of places for people to try here and here both for games and consoles in the UK although I would highly recommend Jacks mate Neil to source you one from Japan!!

Have used the Import Games Direct website this week to order FIFA and it arrived next day.He advertises on Ebay but his prices are cheaper on his website (Delivery is included on the website)

Think I have all the games I need now (At least until GT4 mobile comes out ): Tiger Woods,FIFA and Ridge Racers

Good luck

www.play.com are now selling the US PSP and games. Under the PSP section scroll down to the bottom right, you will see a image of a PSP and the US flag. £199 for the console or around £35 for the games.

I get my stuff from www.dvdboxoffice.com which has free shipping but can take a week or so.

Got Fifa today Its tremendous considering its the first effort from EA games on this system (so to speak)

Bit jittery after shots on goal and the occasional slow-up in speed but to be honest that doesnt spoil it enough considering its on a wickedly small screen and its has the authentic teams and leagues from all over the globe

9/10 for effort in my opinion

Compared to World Tour, Fifa is better-and I am a HUGE pro evo fan...

I have seen Fifa run with 2 players over wireless as well, and its superb!

You wont be dissapointed....just consider it a baby version of the latest 2005 on PS2
