Black Box to Record an ON/OFF signal 24 hours a Day to be connected to PC
Hard to explain but... Here we go!
I need an external box from the PC where it can have signals that are either ON or OFF going into it (2 wires only) that can be interfaced to the PC somehow?
All the signal is currently doing is illuminating an LED. Can I route that signal into some kind of box to bring this information onto the PC to put into a basic webpage? What controls would I use?
Ideas please!
Thanks,
Jon

If you get it working I would be interested to see it as always fancied monitoring the status of a switch from a pc.

Ok Richard
Just looking at this which seems rather good. Any people confirm if this will do what I want it to do? Comes with basic logging software.
