Blocking services with Netgear router
I have a Netgear WGT634U router, and could do to know how to block services on it, in particular the MSN Messenger service (version 7). This is purely and simply to stop my young 'un from chatting to her mates when she should be doing her homework ! Obviously when I'm at work I can't kick her *** in person and so thought I should be able to do it with the router.
I've figured out that I can set a schedule of times/days for when to block, and have added two service rules in the services part. I've created one to block port 6901 (TCP and UDP) and called it MSN1. And another to block ports 6891-6900 (TCP and UDP) called MSN2. I have made these specific to her IP, as I've fixed my own IP and the intention was I could still use MSN myself during the block times. However, the rules don't work - I was wondering if I'd got the port numbers right. Are those the correct ports or have they changed them in the new version of MSN Messenger ?

This program is harder to get rid of than herpes !
The damn thing starts using port 80 if it can't get through on any other ports. And I can't block port 80 as that's what's used for the web !
Does anyone else have any suggestions ?
