How the hell do you do it.

I've run the media rotation wizard and selected the options but its still will not backup how I want.

Monday - Daily
Tuesday - Daily
Wednesday- Daily
Thursday - Daily
Friday - Weekly
Month End - Monthly

This is give us a 1 year backup ability.

It looks like version 10 supports GFS out of the box and 9.1 requires some tweaking!!

Just in case you all want to know

I created 3 jobs,
Daily that runs Monday-Friday @ 22:00
Weekly that runs Every Friday @ 21:30
Monthly that runs last working day of the month @ 21:00. (I had to set the days for the Monthly job by hand)

As the jobs are staged at different times, the earlier job picks up the tape before the other.

i.e. The Monthly Jobs takes a tape on Friday 29th April (last working day) before Weekly job can pick it up. There is also an automatic cancellation on the Daily Monthly and Weekly jobs to cancel after 4 hours. So the job should automatically cancel its self. However it will show in the job Monitor

It’s not tidy or clean but I can't upgrade, it would cost thousands for all our agents.
