I lent my mate my copy of GT4 but his PS2 can't play it. It keeps coming up with disk read error. The game is fine on every other PS2 it's been in. He's tried all of his other games which work fine.
Any ideas?

I had this too so I took my ps2 apart and cleaned the lense by hand and it works fine every time now It's an easy job to do

Are you sure it is saying disk read error. A friend of mine baught a PS2 which included GT4. Problem was when he got home to play on it, there was no memory card included with the bundle he baught. And GT4 requires a memory card to play. Does your mate have a memory card ??

I am on my 3rd disk, seems ok now, just dont scratch them, might be because they are dual layer.
