What the hell is going on with my laptop?
Been working fine, only installed XP on it a few weeks ago so it's a fresh install. Now whenever I try to open most progs (IE, MSN, Yahoo etc) they start to open, but just as they connect they quit. Have run AdAware/Spybot & run full virus scan but still having same problem. This is really starting to wind me up as it was fine before XP start downloading updates, going to uninstall SP2 to see if that makes a diff.
Also I would try to use system restore but that won't open either
and safe mode makes no difference.
Anyone got any ideas before I just format & reinstall?
