Default Help with Excel

Dont know if what I want to do is possible but here goes:-

Along the top of the spreadsheet I have data in columns A,B,C,D,E they are customer addresses eg.

.......... A.........................B....................... C
----------------------------------------------------
1.|.....NAME..........|........123............|... ADDRESS
----------------------------------------------------
2.|.....NAME..........|........999............|... ADDRESS
----------------------------------------------------
3.|.....NAME..........|........555............|... ADDRESS

In column A I have their name, column B is the numerical order in which they belong, column C,D,E is their address.

I need to be able to put them in numerical order using the data in column C.

Using the ascending/decending function If I put column C into numerical order the rest of the information in the remaining columns becomes wrong as it no longer relates to the customer it used to.

How do I get the information into numerical order ?

Highlight all the columns first then select which one to sort by in the sort dialogue...

Ctrl-A to select all cells, Data, Sort, Sort By Column C.

It will sort keeping the rows intact. Is this what you mean ?
