Default RAM

went to get broadband installed over the weekend.
not a problem, except that when installing via disk it asked for a minimum of 64mB RAM.
it detected we only had 32meg.
phoned around to find out if its possible to upgrade and was warned of two types, 1 being cheap, the other not.

How do I go about identifying which type I have please?

www.crucial.com/uk

Either enter you PC Make and Model or if you're not sure, there is a tool to scan your PC for you and report what mem you need.

Crucial aren't the cheapest but the RAM is garaunteed (sp) to work. And you shouldn't be cheap when buying RAM
